More About Chris
Chris Eder’s journey is a powerful blend of yoga, mala-making, and personal healing. It all started in 1999 when a co-worker recommended Yoga as a tool to deal with ADHD and lower back pain. Then in 2007, Chris started teaching yoga…in Baghdad Iraq. That is when his SEVA mission truly began. After 23.5 years in the Air Force as a Combat Correspondent, Chris now makes mala beads to raise money and awareness for Veteran Mental Health issues. His deep connection to the practice began with a commitment to understanding mindfulness and trauma recovery, which led him to complete both a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training and a 500-hour Yoga Teacher Training. He also worked with Mindful Yoga Therapy for more than a decade as their Communications Director and facilitator, gaining valuable skills in guiding individuals through trauma-informed yoga. As a passionate mala designer, Chris combines his love for spiritual practice with creativity, offering malas that support healing, grounding, and resilience.
In addition to his yoga and mala work, Chris also designs websites and logos, offering his expertise to those seeking unique, functional, and aesthetically pleasing digital presences. His dedication to empowering warriors through mindful practice, malas, and beautifully crafted designs is rooted in his belief in supporting veterans and creating spaces of healing and growth. Chris’s multifaceted approach to wellness highlights his ability to blend healing arts, creative design, and technical skills, offering a holistic path to well-being.
