Strength & Acceptance Wrist Mala

Strength & Acceptance Wrist Mala

7-8mm Water Buffalo bone, with 8mm Turquoise beads and a 14mm Turquoise Skull bead.

Water Buffalo Bone - is a traditional material used in malas in both Nepal and Tibet. Bone signifies strength and is said to amplify prana (life force energy.) Tibetan nomadic life is hard, and in the cold there is little to eat. Water buffalo is a main staple in Nepal and Tibet and when an animal is used for food nothing is wasted. These amazing bone beads are hand inlaid by artisans who recycle and reuse everything in daily life and spiritual practice.

Skull Beads -are meant to have the meditator reflect on death and impermanence and know that death is a fact and the closer that we can relate to death and embrace it the sooner we can start living with love and compassion and realizing that in this cyclic existence death will come when it is life and embrace death.

Turquoise - strengthens the meridians of the body and the subtle energy fields, enhancing communication between the physical and spiritual worlds. Spiritually, Turquoise heals and cleanses both the energy centers and the physical body. It acts to induce wisdom and understanding, and to enhance trust, and kindness. Turquoise is a stone for self-forgiveness, self-acceptance and the release of useless regrets. It encourages us to honor ourselves as a creation and a tool of the Divine.
