Water Buffalo Bone beads, Coral, Tibetan (raw) Turquoise with a large Tibetan OM charm inlaid with Turquoise and Coral.
Water Buffalo Bone - is a traditional material used in malas in both Nepal and Tibet. Bone signifies strength and is said to amplify prana (life force energy.) Tibetan nomadic life is hard, and in the cold there is little to eat. Water buffalo is a main staple in Nepal and Tibet and when an animal is used for food nothing is wasted. These amazing bone beads are hand inlaid by artisans who recycle and reuse everything in daily life and spiritual practice.
OM - The "Om" represents the four divine states of Brahman - metta (loving kindness), karuna (compassion), mudita (sympathetic joy), and upekkha (equanimity). The syllable OM, which is the imperishable Brahman, is the universe.
Turquoise - strengthens the meridians of the body and the subtle energy fields, enhancing communication between the physical and spiritual worlds. Spiritually, Turquoise heals and cleanses both the energy centers and the physical body. It acts to induce wisdom and understanding, and to enhance trust, and kindness.
Coral - quiets the emotions and brings peace to within the self. Facilitates intuition, imagination and visualization. Coral expedites and accelerates the transfer of knowledge. Coral helps one to both understand and use the qualities of the mystic.
