The very prettily splotched Cream and Brown Round Beads are Buri Seeds. Buri gives one a Connection to Higher Understanding. They give Clarity, and a sense of Calm, allowing one to think and feel clearly, and to be in touch with one's Spirit.
Buri Nuts' Elements are Earth, and Air. Earth, because the Tree's roots are deep in the Earth. Air, because it gives us back oxygen for us to breathe.
Avalokitesvara teaches us patience as well as compassion. He has withheld his own Buddhahood until he has helped every sentient being on earth achieve nirvana. This is something that every person could connect to because it allows us to understand the idea of compassion, patients and giving. Without these things people would be no where, and they would never be able to reach nirvana.
Avalokitesvara, being the Bodhisattva of compassion, has six different forms within the Mahayana tradition. 'Great compassion, great loving-kindness, lion-courage, universal light, leader amongst gods and men, and the great omnipresent Brahman"
The Bodhi Seed signifies the Buddha’s attainment of enlightenment under the Bodhi Tree. While especially revered by Buddhists, a bodhi seed mala is considered auspicious to use for all practices, and represents spiritual promise, dedication and faith. brings protection and security.
